Consumer Report

I have messy, dirty kids. Amelia is the kindergarten kid who actually uses that change of clothes that you send in at the beginning of the year. Monday I pulled her shirt out of her bag that she had to change, only to find it COVERED in purple frosting. I mean seriously, how did she get it on the hood in the back? And not just a little bit, it was the whole darn shirt!!!

So, the cheap laundry detergent doesn't end up being so cheap when I have to use two or three times as much to get the stains out. My answer? GAIN. It's better than Tide and anything else I've tried. It's so good that I usually don't even use Spray and Wash on the stains before I wash!

Eddie is getting around today.... I thought I was special he commented on my blog. I guess not.

I love Gain. I haven't used anything else for years (besides Dreft for baby clothes). I've never been a Tide fan. I'm glad you switched over because I know you loved Tide. :)

That is good to know! I'm always looking for something better. I've been using Tide for years because I hadn't found anything better. I will admit to finding it difficult to spent a lot of money on a bottle of detergent for fear of it not being worth what I spent....thus, I don't experiment much with my detergent (and I'm super picky about smell and cleanliness).

I agree though, I'd rather have it get the job done right the first time instead of washing it twice!

Thanks again for the info!

Okay that is Awesome if Eddie VanHalen is really going to send you a 15.00 check...keep us posted.

Some kids are just messy...Aubry has that problem too. I have to go through all her clothes every time I wash before I can put it into the dryer to see if the stains got out...then I have to do the sink soak, if not, followed by a long cycle again. Can't wait to try Gain:)

Let me know how Gain works on all the puke you have been cleaning up this week. I hope you feel better soon. You can laugh at all of it when you are as crazy as me. I have had so many things go wrong I just laugh now. My new slogan is BRING IT ON! My friend even made me a wooden sign that says that. I figure I have two choices, laugh or go on anitdepressants. There was a time I needed the latter to get the prior. Hang in there!

I have always used Tide w/ Bleach and have loved it. Maybe I'll give gain a try if it is less expensive. Thanks for the tip. These twins are filthy especially w/ all the rain.
